Vintage Blouse; My Grandmothers

Black Chiffon Maxi Skirt: Primark

Hey Peeps!
So this is a few of the shots which we took a couple of weeks ago,—when it was raining,—hence the title. We took quite a few shots, but a lot of them turned out awful due to the weather that day, so these are the only ones I half-managed to salvage. :(
This burnt orange shirt is actually my late grandmothers and I borrowed/stole it from my mother (I have no intentions of giving it back!).
From what I can see through the pictures, my grandmother (she passed away when I was very young) obtained a somewhat feminine and vintage style. When I gained possession of the blouse, I wanted to do the blouse justice in the 'Victoria way'—hence the swamping of black chiffon, silver jewellry and dark lips. But I definitely am looking forward to styling up this blouse a more granny-approved way, by feminising it up a bit. I also feel that the autumnal colour palette will help for me to get a lot of use out of this blouse for this A/W. I can see myself tucking it into a pair of black high-waisted skinny jeans, some cool boots and an oversized cardigan.
This blouse is a multi-diversional piece, so there's no way I'm giving in back now! Sorry mum!
Until next time peeps!
Love,
V.
