So these are a few shots my friend Lauren and I took the other day when we were roaming about Carnaby Street.

This is probably one of my favourite outfit posts to date! With this outfit, I was going for a feminine-but-rough-around-the-edges type of a look. I really feel that the boots and the studded backpack, as well as all the silver detail really achieved that!

I was going to whack on a dark lipstick, but then I thought that that would've been rather too predictable for this type of a look, so I kept the lippy neutral instead. And now due to the simplicity of my make-up and due to the simplicity of the colours, I feel like the black stands out a lot more.

Until you get to my boots, which add that autumnal pop of colour which I feel this outfit needed,—the black edition would've been underappreciated amongst the swamps of chiffon and leather.

This dress is an awesome purchase of mine from H&M a few months ago, here it's used as a basic layering piece, but I am keen to make it more of a focal point in future outfits!
